Professional background
Mainly practises insurance and liability law.
After five years at the University of Paris-Nanterre, Catherine graduated in Business Law, and in Insurance Law from the University of Toulouse Capitole 1 with Distinction. She continued her studies with a Master's degree in Economic and Social Equivalence from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
She then spent 3 years working for several leading international multinationals in insurance law and on international cases. She developed in-depth expertise in this field, particularly in French and Belgian law.
Catherine has always had a passion for advocacy. During her studies, she became involved as an elected student member of the Board of Directors of the University of Paris-Nanterre.
She is involved in several ASBLs promoting access to rights and employment for people with disabilities, particularly the Deaf. Catherine wrote her final thesis on the status of disabled workers in sheltered employment in ESATs (France) and ETAs (Walloon Region).
Catherine can work in several languages: French (mother tongue), English (British Council Certificate), Portuguese (Instituto Camoes Certificate), Langue des Signes (University Diploma).
